Imagine what it would be like to arrive in the United States and be unable to understand, speak, read, or write.  You would struggle with basic communication, understanding a different culture, and customs and behavior of your new neighbor.  The number of people trying to meet this challenge has grown dramatically in recent years.

Some of the people entering our ESL program are encountering English for the first time.  Others have been in the United States long enough to know basic listening and speaking skills, but they are unable to read or write the language.  Still others may have studied English in their native countries and are somewhat proficient in reading and writing English but are unable to speak or understand it.

At the Education Center we offer all levels of English.
